I’m an IB Biology tutor in Bologna with 11 years’ experience, including a stint in a university lab before moving into teaching. Most of my students are HL and come to me for genetics, human physiology and data-based questions. I also help with the IA write-up (methods, variables, graphs, evaluation) and I’m used to working with students who’ve missed chunks due to travel or sports. Hi! I’m Sofia in Rome and I coach AP Biology for students on US programmes here in Italy. I stick closely to the College Board framework: quick unit refreshers, MCQ drills, then lots of FRQs with proper grading.
