Giulia
Milan-based tutor for IB Maths AA (SL/HL). I studied Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and started teaching when my younger sister hit the IB. Most of my work is calculus, sequences and probability, plus getting students faster at Paper 1/2 questions. I’m also happy to sanity-check IA maths, graphs and wording so it fits IB expectations without doing it for you. Bring your past-paper mistakes and we’ll fix the pattern.

Christian
I’ve spent the last decade in international schools and private tuition, helping students shape Paper 1 analysis, Paper 2 comparison essays, the HL essay and the Individual Oral. If you’re stuck picking extracts, building a line of argument, or cutting waffle, we’ll sort it quickly and keep your voice intact. I’m especially good with non-lit texts like ads, speeches and film stills.

Giada
I’m a Biology graduate in Bologna and I tutor IB Biology (SL/HL). Students usually find me when they’re drowning in markschemes or their IA data looks messy. I’m great for genetics, evolution and physiology, and I’ve supervised plenty of IAs (enzymes, transects, databases). Expect lots of practice questions and honest feedback on graphs, uncertainty and conclusions. If you like ecosystems, we’ll probably get on.

Alessio
After an MSc in Industrial Chemistry, I spent a few years in an analytical lab, so I’m very comfortable with uncertainties, titration curves and stoichiometry under time pressure. I’ll help you tighten exam technique, pick smart shortcuts, and plan/write your IA with a clear research question and sensible processing. Equilibrium and energetics are my favourite topics to teach.

Paola
Physics is my day job and tutoring is what I do most evenings. I’m in Turin and teach IB Physics (SL/HL), especially mechanics, fields, waves and the option topics students dread. We’ll use past papers on a shared whiteboard and I’ll show you how to set out working so you don’t lose method marks. If you’re doing a physics IA, I’m good at spotting where the variables aren’t controlled and why the uncertainty table doesn’t add up.

Rachel
My background is cognitive psychology, and I’m picky about linking studies to the command term and the evaluation points IB actually rewards. We can drill SAQs, build ERQ plans that hit the rubric, or practise writing under time. I also help with the IA, especially choosing a design that’s ethical, doable, and easy to analyse. I keep a bank of simple study summaries so you’re not memorising whole textbooks.

Erica
I did a stint in banking and later in a small consultancy, so I like tying theory to what’s happening in Italy and the EU. In lessons we practise diagrams, evaluation and timing, and I keep a running list of real examples students can borrow for Paper 1/2. If you hate the 15-marker, you’re not alone. Micro and development are my comfort zones; macro takes a bit more coffee.

Angel
I teach IB Business Management (SL/HL) online. I’ve done corporate strategy work and SME consulting, so the syllabus topics feel familiar (and I’ve got plenty of Italian case examples). If you’re wrestling with the IA, I can help you narrow a research question, choose the right tools (ratios, decision trees, stakeholder maps), and write analysis that’s linked to evidence. Happy to do short “mock viva” chats to check you can explain your thinking.

Tom
I studied Modern History and spent time working in archives, so I’m big on evidence and perspective, not just memorising dates. Most sessions are Paper 2 essay practice and Paper 3 depth work: planning fast, writing with clear arguments, and evaluating historians properly. I also help students organise sources for their IA so the investigation reads cleanly. If you’re doing Europe 1918–45 or Cold War topics, that’s my wheelhouse.

John
I’m happiest with urban change, climate systems and anything that uses maps, statistics or a bit of GIS. For the IA, I’ll help you plan fieldwork, keep the data manageable, and present it neatly (graphs, maps, commentary). I’m also that tutor who will make you explain your case study in 60 seconds, because exams are brutal. Bonus: I can suggest easy local field sites around the city if you’re stuck.
